SASUKE 29, officially 「SASUKE2014」夏 (lit., Sasuke 2014 Summer), is set to air on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 6:57pm (18:57) JST, going until 10:48pm (22:48) JST; on TBS in Japan.
SASUKE 30 is the actual competition. All 100 competitors compete and roughly about 75 of the competitors are shown in one way or another. The broadcast shows just about everyone, including any international competitors, depending on how well they did. The broadcasts are typically anywhere between 2 to 6 hours long, but definitely moves quickly. This competition specifically will be 4 hours long. For those who have never seen the original Japanese broadcast, it is very different from the American produced license, Ninja Warrior. SASUKE contains a wealth of dramatic music, competitor intros and bios, and lots of suspense right in the middle of runs (you’ll see what we mean). Competitors are generally shown in order of their number, starting from #1 and moving through the First Stage to #100. The show is likely to be shown in primetime in Japan, which means early morning for the USA (as early as 2am Pacific and 6am Eastern) and a little bit later in the day for Europe (closer to mid-day).
